Summary of Application Experience

So far no good. Two interview invites late august, and only rejections and holds since then. My interview at the U of U was not the best, hopefully I hear back from the mayo soon. Would love an acceptance soon so I can go traveling for several months before school.

11-23 Sent an update letter to virtually all schools that would accept them. Turns out I forgot to mention in my activities list physician shadowing :( . Its briefly mentioned in my primary essay, and I have a letter from a doctor I shadowed, but thats it. Found this out when my premed committee said I was ranked very high, had a very good committee letter, and a 3.9 GPA. Looks like I may be reapplying :/

Looks like I've been accepted yay! I've decided to withdraw from my vermont interview and leave it to between wright and Oakland. Still waiting to hear back from Wright. Both are awesome schools, and if I get accepted to wright this could be a tough decision. What I've learned from all this is just be yourself. If I would have figured this out for my first interviews they would have been alot better. Oh and check out my blog at premedasian.com. I decided I'd start my own blog about the entire experience. Please check it out.
