As an international reapplicant with average stats, I think that my cycle qualifies as a statistical anomaly! Managed to get interviews at the schools which:
1. Receive the highest volume of applications, or were
2. Reach schools (due to stats or regional preference)
Lets put it this way – they picked me really well. After learning more about all the schools I applied to, I think that the ones that interviewed me were the best fit for my aspirations and personality (albeit in very different ways). I am so happy with how this year turned out and am so excited to start med school next year!
