Brief Profile:
Is anything too hard for the Lord? (Genesis 18:14)
My greatest asset is my personal statement. I spent 8 months writing it and making revisions. I had over 20 drafts and multiple critiques from friends, family, and a former adcom committee member. Every single word has a distinct purpose in conveying my thoughts, feelings, and reason for wanting to be a doctor.

Great school. It is a combination of Drew University and UCLA. They have the same class the first two years or so. In the past, the hospital that the students rotated through was shut down because of poor performance.
Most people entering the program are very interested in working with the underserved in society.
Small class size. About 24 spots. Application is independent of the main Ucla application.

School is heavy into academic research. If you are not a research kind of person and have not saved a village in Africa...reconsider.
If you go to Harvard you can match into any specialty you want unless you make a major faux pas.

Thank you Heavenly Father!!
While some students are accepted in mid-December, most are accepted in early March.
Curriculum: 1/3 pbl, 1/3 lecture, 1/3 small group.
School is located in Manhattan, nicer part of new York. There isn't an actual campus. Just a high rise. Undergrad campus is in a different part of NY.
HOUSING: Highly subsidized. So not bad for living in Manhattan. Right next door to medical school building.
