Brief Profile:
Decided to pursue a career in medicine after "trying it on" by getting my EMT certification at the age of 17 and volunteering through a fire department. I've been an active volunteer since then (and attended fire school as well). For the past 3-4 years I've worked in my local ER as a tech during the summer and weekends here and there during the school year. More recently I started working in the OR at the tech level and enjoy it immensely.
I'm a Biomedical Engineering major with a Material Science Engineering Minor and am an Honors Scholar and plan on graduating in May 2012.
