Brief Profile: First time applicant! The basics:
- BA/MPH from top tier, decent GPA, good MCAT, URM
- ECs: teaching assistant, bench research, volunteer work, shadowing, leadership in club sports

I\'d say my GPA is my biggest weakness, but I think my MCAT makes up for it (I actually took it twice - first time was 29S). Then again, who knows, eh?

I applied to all the CA schools and a few others - I tried to apply broadly/reasonably.

megrs took the old MCAT and scored a 34 which is in the 94^th percentile of all old scores. We converted this to a 516 on the updated scale which is in the 94^th percentile of the updated MCAT. We also converted megrs’s section scores as follows:
