Interviewed here last year and the year before. Looks like they've wised up to my antics!
Wait. No they haven't. Can't wait to wait for them again. Got the interview e-mail as I was getting beer with my guy/gal pals from Meharry's interview day.
Also, the tertiary application they're requiring this year is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.
For interested parties, not out on the secondary, out at 1/2 interviews. Didn\'t come up at the second one.
Yeah. No big surprise on the rejection for the THIRD TIME. Fuck you guys. Just open another medical school, Massachusetts. JUST DO IT.

High priority waitlist. Time to write a bajillion letters to them!
Interview received after an in-the-area e-mail.
Also, the interview here was wonderful. Dr. Callahan and Dr. Brooks were both a pleasure to interact with, and I would love to end up here.
Out at 1/2 interviews here, but not out on the secondary - it just didn't come up.

Took about two months from secondary submission to completion.
Wow. Slow school. I asked, and Linda said this was the first time my application had been reviewed.
For those interested, I was out on this secondary.

Update: UC List. For now, I'll count this as a waitlist. If I get in off the UC list, I'll count it as an outright acceptance.
I had so much fun here. What a blast. I was laughing throughout my two interviews.
For the LGBT inclined (wanna make out?), out at both interviews here.

Slight ew@Nashville. Probably not great for gay applicants (ohai!). I'll be in the closet for this one, sadly.
I connected with a student from there who said issues that affect homosexuals "simply aren't discussed," hence my feeling. I'll definitely take the school seriously, but I recognize that it might not be the best fit from the outset.
UPDATE: Ok, strike that. The interviewer I had openly mentioned sexual orientation when we were speaking about HIV/AIDS, so it seemed appropriate to mention it. Meharry is, in fact, extremely gay-friendly. I misjudged it.
It's definitely not my top choice, but the interview here was absolutely wonderful. I could see myself here, though I concede that I would probably choose Jefferson, UMass, or Albany before it (already rejected from Cooper, which probably would have been my first choice out of all of my interviews).
Moral of the story: If you want to gauge how an interviewer will react to your sexual orientation (if you're not straight), ask about HIV. If they mention gay people in a positive light, bring up your own experiences. It can only help.

Third Try. Last time was the wildcard round, the time before was when I didn't know shit, and this is the real thing, hence the huge number of schools. I'm getting in this year. I have to. Mainly because I don't want to take the MCAT again.
Also, the AMCAS submission date reflects when Verification was done and letters were all received by AMCAS, hence the pre-dating of secondaries.
To give a bit of an overview of my application, I'm a gay Cystic Fibrosis patient (slim, hairy, Jewish men, you've been selected to receive a prize. PM for details.). My extracurriculars include:
