Summary of Application Experience
08/04/09: First update! So I really worked quickly to get all my apps and secondaries in as soon as I possibly could while juggling research, volunteering, etc. But it looks like it paid off so far -- two interviews coming up! The super-early rejection from BU was a bit of a rude awakening, but it appears that many other SDNers had the same experience including some with better stats than me; so I wonder what the criteria were for those decisions? Anyhow, fingers crossed for the Texas schools at the moment since they move so quickly!
8/18/09: Going on vacation works wonders for me -- I received three invites for Texas schools while I was away (Baylor, UT Southwestern and Texas A&M)! My dream schools seem to be in reach which is amazing -- I feel very blessed so far in this process. First interview on Friday!
8/19/09: Vanderbilt interview showed up this morning! It's like Christmas every day...amazing news - I feel very lucky to be considered :)
08/22/09: One interview down, five more to go at this point! Also submitted the Vandy secondary today, so I'm set for that!
