A word of wisdom for those applying:

I NEVER thought I'd end up where I am today. If you asked me before I applied where I thought I would end up, I don't think I would have ever considered this place. Apply broadly both geographically and according to your application. Don't discount the power of people in making your decision, both your fellow students (yes the MD class too) and the director/administration. You never know what you'll find and who you will meet. You will find people in unexpected places that will inspire you and reach out to help you achieve your greatest potential. Don't close your mind based on preconceived notions. To end with the wise words of Jerry Garcia, 'Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right'

I hope this helped a bit!
