Summary of Application Experience
Last semester i applied to 6 DO and 2 md. Withdrew all but one app b/c of financial problems. Got interview at NSUCOM and was alternate listed. Major mistakes form last year: Had D orgo 2 that wasn't retaken (Got B- now), applied late (complete in november), didn't really know the application process too well, didn't have letters ready on time, doubted myself and didn't apply broadly. I feel I have corrected the major mistakes in my application and hopefully now I will be able to get in somewhere and make the dream a reality. Good luck to everyone else.

Woohoo so far one rejection and one acceptance to KCOM. I'm happy but Morehouse and FIU are still ahead of KCOM on my rankings, though KCOM is a close third. If I were rejected everywhere else I'd still be content with where I end up, so it's all good. Now for the NOVA interview. I might have to go there just so my gf can get her graduate degree as well and not have to split up. We'll see.
1/06/09 Happy New Year. Got into first choice (FIU College of Medicine) so I'm happy. Withdrew a lot of acceptances and apps. Waitlisted at Morehouse but I don't care. Overall I'm happy the process is OVER!!
