Update:
Out of the 6 schools at which I interviewed, University of Pittsburgh seemed the most appealing in almost every regard. I was fortunate enough to get accepted by that school, and I was offered a $10,000 scholarship that repeats every year, for 4 years.
One thing that doesn't show up on my MDApps profile is the fact that I sent out 10 letters of recommendation to all of my school. From what I was told, they were all excellent, which may have been what contributed toward receiving that scholarship, as I do not think that my MDApps profile is out of this world in any regard.
